Wits have also, in the last weeks, loaned out Jackson Mabokgwane and Miguel Timm to Mpumalanga Black Aces; Musa Bilankulu to Bloemfontein Celtic and Sipho Mngomezulu and Letsie Koapeng to Chippa United in the National First Division. All are deals until the end of the season.

At the weekend the club announced the signing of striker Sthembiso Ngcobo from Kaizer Chiefs on a two and a half year deal.

He had spent the last six months on loan at AmaZulu but failed to make an impact in Durban where Usuthu did not use him frequently and where he scored just once.

The 30-year-old will battle with veteran Benjani Mwaruwari and speedy Calvin Kadi for the role of lead striker.
