October 14, (THEWILL) – Five Nigerian artistes have been nominated for this year’s American Music Awards, which will take place on November 12, at the Microsoft Theatre, in California.
The artistes include Ebunoluwa Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, Ayo Balogun, known as Wizkid, Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems, Adedamola Adefolahan, aka Fireboy, and Chukwuka Ekweani, otherwise known as Ckay.
The artistes were nominated in the Favourite Afrobeats Artiste category.
Tems also got another nomination in the Collaboration of the Year category for her collaborative work with Future and Drake.
