July 31, (THEWILL) – Singer, Ayodeji Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has lost one of his most prized possessions at his just concluded concert in the United Kingdom.
Wizkid performed in a sold-out show at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, London, United Kingdom on Saturday. During his performance on stage, he threw his expensive ring while trying to fling his jacket to the crowd.
British-Nigerian podcaster, Adesope Olajide, disclosed this during his Instagram live session.
According to him, the ring is worth £100,000 (almost N80 million).
Olajide, expressed regret for leaving the front row when the ring fell, stressing that he had caught Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz’s rings at their concerts in the past.
“Why did I leave that front row at Wizkid’s show when that ring was about to fall? Ah! I have caught Zlatan and Diamond Platnumz’s rings before. These are thousands of pounds and dollars.
“Obviously, that Wizkid’s ring! That would have been the one. I’m honest. I could sell it for like £100k”, he stated.
