March 27, (THEWILL) – Egypt secured their spot in the TotalEnergies Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations after drawing 0-0 with Zambia at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

The Young Pharaohs had previously won the first leg of the tie 2-0 and secured a 2-0 aggregate victory over the doubleheader.

Despite being on home soil, the Zambians failed to find the back of the net and missed out on qualification. They had several chances to score, including a shot from distance by John Kosamu, in the early stages of the game.
