May 13, (THEWILL) — The Recording Academy has announced details for the 2027 Grammy Awards, including the date, venue and broadcast platforms.
The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2027, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will air live on ABC and stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
The announcement was made during Disney’s Upfront presentation in New York City on Tuesday, May 12.
The 2027 edition marks the Grammys’ return to ABC for the first time since 1972, ending its long-running broadcast partnership with CBS.
The Recording Academy said the move represents a new phase for the awards show.
The eligibility period for the 2027 awards runs from August 31, 2025, to August 28, 2026. This is the period during which music must be released to be eligible for consideration.
Key dates include the nominations announcement on November 16, 2026, while final voting will run from December 10, 2026, to January 7, 2027.
