December 22, (THEWILL) – Nigerian Juju artiste, popularly referred to as Omoba De Jumbo Beats and his band members, who were reportedly kidnapped over the weekend, have finally been released.
The artiste and his crew were allegedly kidnapped on December 17, while returning from an event as revealed by fellow musician, Adeyinka Adeboye, better known as Boyebest, who disclosed the incident on social media.
According to Boyebest, the group was abducted by unknown gunmen during their journey from Abuja to Kogi, and the kidnappers reportedly demanded a N10 million ransom for their release.
However, in the early hours on Thursday, December 21, a video surfaced online, revealing a disheartening scene as individuals purported to be Omoba De Jombo Beats and his crew emerged from a bus, visibly worn and disheveled.
