April 30, (THEWILL) — American actor Ving Rhames is recovering after collapsing at a Los Angeles restaurant on April 29.
The 66-year-old, known for his roles in “Mission: Impossible” and “Pulp Fiction”, was dining with his family when he suddenly collapsed.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
Rhames’ representatives later said the collapse was likely due to overheating and confirmed he is now in stable condition.
After being observed in the hospital, Rhames was released and is recovering at home.
His manager shared that Rhames “feels fine” and was in good spirits after the incident.
Rhames has been a key part of the “Mission: Impossible ” series, where he plays hacker Luther Stickell alongside Tom Cruise.
He’s also famous for his role as Marsellus Wallace in “Pulp Fiction.” Recently, he has continued working in films like “Uppercut” (2025) and the TV series “Dope Thief.”
