February 19, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has joined the growing list of entertainers who earlier supported the presidential candidacy of Bola Tinubu but are now calling him out over the prevailing economic hardship in the country.
In a video posted on her social media, she decried the state of the nation, adding that Nigeria has never been this bad before.
She urged Tinubu to look into the state of the nation. “It’s actually not a happy new week. Abeg which way to go? @officialasiwajubat pls look into the state of the nation, Nigeria has never been this Bad #stateofthenation #Nigeria,” the caption of her video read.
Comedian Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile, aka Seyi Law; Fuji singer, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, and veteran Nollywood actor, Ebun Oloyede, aka Olaiya Igwe, all of whom are ardent supporters of Tinubu, have openly addressed the President recently, asking him to a find a solution to the economic hardship in Nigeria.
