Singer Adekunle Gold has gifted his wife, fellow artiste, Simi, a Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class and a diamond ring to celebrate her 38th birthday on April 19, 2026.
The surprise was captured in a video shared online. The clip shows Simi reacting with shock as she was led to the luxury car before embracing her husband.
The gesture sparked reactions on social media, with fans and colleagues sending congratulatory messages.
In an Instagram post, Simi shared a message about her birthday and the past year.
“One thing about me – I’m gonna celebrate my birthday. It’s been a pretty big, long, heavy, blessssssed year… Still, God don’t play about me… I’m so thankful”, she wrote.
Adekunle Gold also celebrated his wife, describing her as his favourite person and greatest inspiration, and said she has been a constant source of peace and strength.
The birthday celebration comes weeks after the couple welcomed their second child in March 2026.
