May 29, (THEWILL) – Anderson Obiagwu, the board president of the African Muzik Magazine Award (AFRIMMA), has stated that the 10th edition of the award will be the biggest and the best version of the award ceremony.
The Award ceremony will take place at the monumental Meyerson Symphony Centre in Dallas, Texas, on the 17th of September, 2023.
Aimed at celebrating African music excellence, the 10th edition promises to be more entertaining and fun-filled.
“The African Muzik Magazine Awards, AFRIMMA seeks to consolidate on the success of previous ceremonies by continuing its quest of crossing boundaries with music.
“It promises to be the biggest and best version of the award ceremony, AFRIMMA is 10 and African music in the past 10 years has reached new milestones and it’s worth rolling out the drums in celebration for”, Obiagwu stated.
Alongside the main ceremony would be events like the highly topical AFRIMMA Music Panel which has come to be a feature of the award ceremony.
Likewise, the AFRIMMA Fashion show will feature renowned fashion labels who will grace the runway.
AFRIMMA is the sole African award ceremony in the diaspora that celebrates African music stars on the international stage.
The first edition was held on July 26th, 2014, at the Eisenmann Centre, in Dallas.
