February 03, (THEWILL) – The Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has reacted to a viral video of trending clergy, Apostle Kassy Chukwu, where he placed curses on actors for visiting former Governor of Lagos state and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu.
Apostle Chukwu was in the news recently for slamming a fellow clergyman, Pastor David Ibiyiomie who placed a curse on internet fraudsters.
Chukwu in the viral video ridiculed those promoting Bola Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria and also called out actors for visiting him, when they should be fighting for the good of the common man and digging to know who killed protesters at the Lekki toll gate in 2020.
The cleric also said whatever endorsement they get will “k!ll” the actors.
Apostle Kassy further stated that he would leave Nigeria, if Tinubu clinches the 2023 presidency.
Reacting to this, the AGN stated that those that visited the All Progressives Congress national leader, do not represent the guild and that they are at liberty to do so.
The AGN described the Pastor’s claim as libellous and further asked the Christain Association of Nigeria and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria to call the “nescience pastor and his luciferous preaching” to order.
Adding that no man had the monopoly of cyberbullying.
