February 28, (THEWILL) – Princess Adedoja, daughter of Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has made her acting debut in Kunle Afolayan’s movie, Anikulapo.
She shared her picture, which was taken at the movie on Sunday. She also stated that she is playing the role of a princess in the movie.
“I played the princess role in my acting debut…..Anikulapo(Death and life, The rebirth of identity), a Kunle Afolayan’s movie.
The project featured several movie stars including Kunle Remi, Faithia Williams, Sola Sobowale, Bimbo Ademoye.
In the movie, Kunle Afolayan explores issues surrounding rebirth of identity in Africa by exploring different perspectives about the concept.
This development is coming a few weeks after Adedoja graduated with a first class after completing her master’s degree at the University of Lagos.
She bagged a distinction in African and Diaspora Studies, emerging as the best graduating student from the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies.
