March 23, (THEWILL) – Lobi Stars have announced the signing of attacking midfielder, Wasiu Alalade, from Kwara United for an undisclosed fee.
The former Enyimba star was part of the championship-winning team in the 2018/2019 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign. Alalade, who has also played for Shooting Stars and Akwa United, brings a wealth of experience to the Lobi Stars squad.
Alalade has represented the Nigerian national team at both the Under-20 and Under-23 levels, featuring for the Flying Eagles and the Olympic Eagles. The 23-year-old started his football career in Ilorin with Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club before making the move to Enyimba. He is expected to play a key role in Lobi Stars’ upcoming fixtures as they aim to climb the NPFL standings.
