May 12, (THEWILL) – American rapper, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., popularly known as Lil Wayne, faces serious allegations of emotional and physical abuse from his ex-girlfriend, Denise Bidot, who publicly accused him in a series of Instagram posts on Sunday.
Bidot accused the rapper of ending their relationship via text on Mother’s Day and forcing her and her daughter to leave his home while she was recovering from surgery.
“Breaking up with someone on Mother’s Day is diabolical…… Wayne literally kicked me and my daughter out on Mother’s Day and I’m just recovering from surgery……. If y’all got lawyer recommendations, please send them…. I’ve been nothing but supportive to this man, loved him ‘til the end of the world.” Bidot said.
In a follow-up live-stream, Bidot expanded her claims, accusing the rapper of physical violence, asserting she knew of ‘other women he’s put his hands on’.
“It’s not just the emotional abuse, like this man has actually laid a hand on me. And I took it. And you know what’s crazy is, they always say we’re so stupid for love, and I thought it was a mistake. But I know other women he’s put his hands on”, she stated.
The couple had an on-and-off relationship since 2020.
Lil Wayne is yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
