
April 07, (THEWILL) – American rapper, Kiari Kendrell Cephus, popularly known as Offset, was shot on Monday near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood in Florida.
He is in stable condition, his spokesperson and police confirmed.
Offset was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where he is “stable and being closely monitored.”
Details about his injuries have not been disclosed, but sources said they are not believed to be life‑threatening.
The Seminole Police Department said the shooting occurred after 7 p.m. in a valet area outside the casino. Officers responded immediately, contained the situation, and detained two individuals.
The site has been secured, and authorities confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public. Casino operations continued as normal.
Offset rose to fame as a member of the hip‑hop trio, Migos, known for hits like “Bad and Boujee” and “Walk It Talk It”.
The group split after fellow member, Takeoff, was fatally shot in 2022.
Offset was previously married to rapper Cardi B, with whom he shares three children.
