April 26, (THEWILL) – Popular American pop star, Justin Bieber, has responded to ongoing rumours about a possible divorce from his wife, Hailey Bieber.
The couple, who got married in September 2018 and welcomed their first child in August 2024, have been subject to intense public scrutiny in recent months. The rumours appeared to intensify when Justin accidentally unfollowed Hailey on Instagram. Justin clarified that the incident was unintentional.
In a series of Instagram stories shared on Friday, Bieber responded to critics, expressing frustration at the negativity directed toward him and his relationship. He reflected on themes of human flaws and forgiveness, advising others to examine themselves before passing judgement.
“They treat me like ass out here. But if I remember that I’m flawed too and God forgave me, it helps me stop feeling better than those who are mean and hurtful. Because when I am really honest, I can be mean and hurtful too”, he said.
He went on to imply that jealousy was the source of the criticism, adding that the critics were envious of the bond he had with his wife.
“Honestly if I was you, it would be hard not to be jealous of me and Hailey going brazzzzyy. It’s really up for us and that’s understandable why people can’t stand it. I don’t blame ’em. Hailey and I are the Jones’s that are impossible to keep up with”, he added.
Bieber’s message seems to reaffirm his commitment to his wife and their life together amid criticism.
