June 09, (THEWILL) — American pop star Ariana Grande and Broadway actor Ethan Slater have ended their relationship after nearly three years together.
The pair, who met on the set of “Wicked” in 2022, quietly broke up several months ago but kept the news private until early June. The split was confirmed on June 8.
Sources close to the former couple said the breakup was private and amicable, adding that they have remained on good terms.
Grande and Slater began dating in the summer of 2023 after working together on the film adaptation of “Wicked”, released in 2024.
Their relationship drew strong public attention early on, as news of their romance came shortly after both had separated from their former partners.
Grande had split from her husband Dalton Gomez in early 2023, while Slater also separated from his wife Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a son.
In recent months, the couple made fewer public appearances, sparking speculation about the state of their relationship.
