May 26 (THEWILL) — Global Afrobeats star, Asake, announced his upcoming “In God We Trust” world tour on Tuesday, May 26, following the success of his latest album “M$NEY”.
The tour will feature performances in cities, including London, Paris, Toronto, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Amsterdam.
It will begin on July 4 with a headline performance at Afro Nation in Portugal and continue through Europe and North America until late October 2026.
South African DJ and Amapiano star, Uncle Waffles, will join Asake as a special guest on selected dates.
The announcement comes after the release of Asake’s fourth studio album, “M$NEY”, which dropped on May 1. The album recorded major streaming success and reportedly broke Spotify records for an African album during its opening week.
“M$NEY” also marked Asake’s first full-length project released under his independent label, Giran Republic, in partnership with EMPIRE.
Tickets for the “In God We Trust” tour are expected to go on sale this week.
