July 16, (THEWILL) — MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the highly anticipated Big Brother Naija Season 10 will premiere on July 26, with a special double-launch weekend scheduled for July 26 and 27.
This season promises to be the biggest yet, with a record-breaking N150 million grand prize—the highest in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns once again as the host, continuing his long-standing role as the face of the show.
Over the course of nine previous seasons, Big Brother Naija has featured 197 housemates, aired for 709 days, and awarded a total of N637 million in prizes.
Last season’s winner, Kellyrae, made history as the first married housemate to win, walking away with N100 million in cash and prizes.
For the upcoming edition, physical auditions were reintroduced and held nationwide from May 16 to 18, bringing back a sense of in-person excitement that many fans had missed.
