The court ordered that he be held in custody for 26 days pending further proceedings, with the case adjourned to April 27, 2026.

The charges stem from allegations made by social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).

VDM accused Blord of using his identity and image without consent for business promotions. He alleged that Blord created fake flight tickets in his name and used them to promote a business event in Onitsha.

He also claimed Blord said he paid him ₦500 million for a brand deal, which he denied. VDM added that his image was used on billboards and flyers without his approval.

A video shared by VDM on social media showed Blord being taken from the court to the correctional centre.

The case has attracted attention on social media. Blord will remain in custody while the court continues the case.
