
March 25, (THEWILL) – Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burn Boy, has cancelled his scheduled performance at the upcoming 2022 AfroNation Festival.
The singer announced his withdrawal from the festival on his Instagram handle on Thursday.
Burna Boy stated that he wouldn’t be able to make it to the festival due to circumstances beyond his control.
“I am extremely gutted that I wouldn’t be at the AfroNation Festival in Puerto Rico, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control.
“I will make it all to you all for sure! Love Damini.”
The AfroNation, one of the biggest world Festivals in Puerto Rico, is returning after two years due to COVID-19. The festival will be held in two places, Puerto Rico and America this year.
It was scheduled to take place between March 24 and 26 in Balneario de Carolina, Puerto Rico, while the later part is expected to hold between July 1st and 3rd in Praia de Rocha Beach, America.
Other Nigerian artists such as Wikid, Patoranking, Yemi Alade, Wande Coal will be performing at the festival.
