August 13, (THEWILL) — As part of their preparations for the 2025 WAFU Zone B qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League, Bayelsa Queens FC will on Thursday, August 14, 2025, take on Royal Queens FC of Warri.
The Prosperity Girls technical team, led by Whyte Ogbonda, will play the NWFL Championship side ahead of the zonal showpiece, which will take place in Cote D’Ivoire from August 23 to September 5, 2025.
According to Coach Whyte Ogbonda, the build-up match is seen as vital for Bayelsa Queens’ preparations for the forthcoming WAFU Zone B qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The venue of the match is the Samson Siasia Stadium in Ovom, Yenagoa.
The time for the friendly match is 8 a.m.
