According to him, it was like moving “from the cage to the stage.”

During Friday’s hearing at Southwark Crown Court, Brown and his co-defendant, U.S. rapper, Omololu Akinlolu, popularly known as Hoody Baby, both pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted grievous bodily harm.

Both men also face additional assault charges, while Brown is separately accused of possessing an offensive weapon—a bottle—in public. No pleas were entered for these charges.

A follow-up hearing is set for July 11, with a trial scheduled for October 26, 2026.
