July 10, (THEWILL) — Nigerian comedian, Onaibe Desmond, popularly known as Destalker, has confirmed the end of his marriage after three years.
During a candid interview with content creator, Timi Agbaje, the comedian disclosed that his marriage was over.
Destalker, who has kept his personal life private, shared that he remains happy despite the divorce, emphasising that marriage is not a requirement for a happy home.
“I am happy, I have a happy home. I was married, but not anymore. Marriage is not a criteria for a happy home”, he said.
When asked about the reason for the divorce, Destalker cited “irreconcilable differences”.
He added, “I was married for three years. I dated the person for six months before getting married. That’s the difference between a man and a woman. I can decide to remarry next week, but a woman can’t. It’s a man’s decision for marriage.”
The comedian stated that he is currently not interested in love or romantic relationships and claimed that marriage benefits women more than men.
