July 30, (THEWILL) — Popular Nigerian content creators, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, have officially become husband and wife after exchanging vows at a civil wedding in Lagos.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday, July 29, in the presence of family members and close friends ahead of their white wedding on August 1.
Videos from the ceremony circulated on social media, showing the couple exchanging vows and signing the marriage register as fans, celebrities and fellow content creators congratulated them.
The civil wedding comes after the couple completed their traditional marriage rites in Benin City, Edo State, in June, where Peller formally met Jarvis’ family and paid her bride price. The pair had earlier announced their August 1 wedding date through a social media video and later shared their official pre-wedding photographs.
For the ceremony, Peller wore an off-white suit paired with a light blue shirt and patterned tie, while Jarvis opted for an off-white tweed mini dress with blue floral embroidery, a matching cropped jacket, white pumps and a bouquet of baby’s breath.
Peller and Jarvis, who have built a large following through their digital content and social media presence, are now counting down to their white wedding, which is expected to attract celebrities, fellow content creators and fans from across the country.
