June 16, (THEWILL) — Country music star, Jelly Roll, has filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO, after nearly 10 years of marriage.
According to court records filed in Williamson County, Tennessee, the singer submitted divorce papers in May, citing irreconcilable differences. The date of separation was listed as May 9.
Sources close to the couple said the decision was mutual and is being handled as a private family matter.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO met in 2015 and got married in a Las Vegas ceremony in August 2016. Over the years, they openly spoke about the challenges in their relationship and their efforts to keep the marriage strong.
In 2023, the couple renewed their vows at the same Las Vegas chapel where they first got married.
The news comes just months after they appeared together at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where Jelly Roll thanked his wife while accepting the award for Best Contemporary Country Album.
Born Jason DeFord, Jelly Roll rose to mainstream success with songs such as “Son of a Sinner”, “Need a Favour” and “Save Me”. He has become one of country music’s biggest stars in recent years.
Neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie XO has publicly commented on the divorce filing.
