June 11, (THEWILL) – Cremonese forward, Cyriel Dessers, is reportedly showing strong interest in joining Scottish Premiership champions, Rangers, during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Rangers review is understandably positive that the club is also keen on securing the signature of the 28-year-old Nigerian international. Reports monitored by THEWILL suggest that Dessers has a strong desire to make the move to Rangers, and has openly indicated his willingness to leave Cremonese.

Currently, Rangers are looking at shelling out the sum of €5 million, including add-ons, to acquire the services of Dessers. Despite his struggles at Cremonese this past season, where he made 19 starts and seven substitute appearances in Serie A, the forward managed to score six goals and provide two assists. Additionally, Dessers featured in the Coppa Italia, making one start and two substitute appearances, scoring one goal in the process.
