March 23, (THEWILL) — Nigerian music star Davido has announced his first-ever festival in London, Davido & Friends Festival, set to take place at the iconic 15,000-capacity Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14, 2026.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Davido shared the news: “For the first time ever, I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th.”
The festival is part of Palace Bowl Presents, a new series of summer events running from July 31 to August 16, 2026, at the famous outdoor venue in South London.
Davido will headline the festival and curate the full-day lineup, though the complete list of performers has not yet been announced.
Fans are speculating about possible surprise guest appearances, but Davido has not confirmed any.
This will be Davido’s first London show since his 2024 O2 Arena performance, following the success of his 2025 album “5ive”
The album surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, and its hit track “With You,” featuring Omah Lay, earned him a Grammy nomination, cementing his global Afrobeats status.
Presale tickets for Davido & Friends Festival go on sale on March 26, with general sales starting March 27.
The festival marks another major step in Davido’s growing international presence.
