June 04, (THEWILL) — Four of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, Davido, Burna Boy, Rema and Ayra Starr, have been included on the official soundtrack album for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
FIFA unveiled the full tracklist for the 18-song album on Wednesday, June 3, confirming the Nigerian stars among a lineup of global artists.
Announcing the lineup, FIFA wrote on X: “The squad for the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album is here! Pre-save for the album release on June 5.”
The album will be released on June 5 through FIFA Sound and Universal Music, ahead of the World Cup, which begins on June 11 in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
According to the tracklist, Burna Boy features on “Dai Dai” with Shakira, while Rema appears on “Goals” alongside Lisa and Anitta.
Davido is featured on “No Place Like Home” with Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado, while Ayra Starr joins Latto on “Show Me”.
Other artists on the album include Future, Tyla, Stormzy, 21 Savage, French Montana, Daddy Yankee, Ava Max, The Rolling Stones, Shaggy and IShowSpeed, whose self-released fan track “Champions” was officially adopted by FIFA.
FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, said the project is the biggest music collaboration ever created for a World Cup.
The album is also a major milestone for Nigerian music, marking the first time four Nigerian artists have appeared on an official FIFA World Cup album at the same time.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
