April 21, (THEWILL) — Davido has confirmed that his joint album with Chris Brown could be released in 2027.
In a recent interview, he said: “There’s definitely more music. Me and Chris Brown got an album coming out hopefully at the end of next year.”
The project has been teased for nearly two years, and this is the first time a possible release date has been mentioned.
Davido said both artists will release their own albums before the joint project.
The pair first worked together in 2019 on “Blow My Mind.” They have since released several songs together, including “Shopping Spree”, “Nobody Needs To Know”, and “Hmm.”
In 2023, they had a major hit with “Sensational”, featuring Lojay. The song reached the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination.
Davido said they have recorded many songs together, raising expectations for the album.
