July 31, (THEWILL) — Afrobeats superstar Davido has released his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, as he celebrates 15 years in the music industry.
The 13-track project, released on July 31, 2026, features a blend of African and international collaborators, including Leon Thomas, Black Sherif, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, FOLA, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay.
At 13 tracks, ORIADÉ is Davido’s shortest studio album to date, moving away from the 17-track format used across his previous five studio albums.
Ahead of the release, Davido introduced the project with the singles “I Know Who I Be,” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, and “Gimme Dat Ting” with NO11.
The title ORIADÉ, derived from the Yoruba words Ori (head or destiny) and Adé (crown), reflects what the singer describes as his “crown era.”
He said the album represents authenticity and a deliberate return to African-rooted sounds.
Davido has also confirmed that a world tour will support the album, with surprise guest appearances expected during some concerts.
The release follows the success of his 2025 album “5ive” and continues his efforts to expand Afrobeats’ global influence.
