Davido Reveals Star-Studded Tracklist For Sixth Album “ORIADÉ”

  • Afrobeats superstar Davido has unveiled the official tracklist for his sixth studio album, “ORIADÉ”, set for release on Friday, July 31. He revealed the 13-song lineup on Tuesday, July 28, across his social media platforms.

  • The album features a mix of Nigerian, African and international artists, including Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay.

  • The album was preceded by the singles “I Know Who I Be” and “Gimme Dat Ting”, which offered fans an early taste of the project. Davido has described the project as the start of a new chapter in his 15-year music career.

  • The album is Davido’s shortest studio album to date, with 13 tracks instead of the 17 songs featured on each of his previous five albums. A world tour is expected to follow its release.

July 29, (THEWILL) — Afrobeats superstar Davido has unveiled the official tracklist for his sixth studio album, “ORIADÉ”, which is scheduled for release on Friday, July 31.

The singer revealed the 13-track lineup on Tuesday, July 28, unveiling a star-studded list of guest artists from across Africa and beyond.

Featured acts on the album include Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay.

The full tracklist includes “On The Road”, “Amazing Grace” featuring Black Sherif, “Julie”, “Constantly”, “I Know Who I Be” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, “Gimme Dat Ting” featuring NO11, “B4 B4” featuring Mayorkun and Fola, “Already Falling”, “Tell Everybody” featuring Leon Thomas, “Yaya” featuring Aya Nakamura, “Zanzibar”, “Guide” and “My Light” featuring Llona.

Davido first introduced “ORIADÉ” with the lead single “I Know Who I Be”, featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay. The song looks back on his 15-year journey in music, while its accompanying video was filmed at his childhood home and features appearances by longtime collaborators.

He later released “Gimme Dat Ting” with NO11, an Afrobeats and Amapiano collaboration that serves as the album’s second single.

Speaking about the project in a recent interview with Notion, Davido said the 13-track album offers something for every listener. He has also described “ORIADÉ” as a return to the African sound that helped shape his career.

The album marks a change from Davido’s previous releases. At 13 tracks, “ORIADÉ” is his shortest studio album to date, while each of his previous five albums featured 17 songs.

Davido is also expected to launch a new world tour in support of the album, with dates already being announced ahead of its release.
