March 04, (THEWILL) — David and Victoria Beckham have posted birthday messages to their estranged son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, amid a public family feud.
Both parents shared a similar photo on Instagram of themselves in a pool with a young Brooklyn between them.
Victoria Beckham wrote, “Happy birthday, Brooklyn, we love you so much,” while David Beckham posted a black-and-white photo of himself with Brooklyn, saying, “27 today. Happy Birthday, Bust. We love you x.”
These messages follow a January Instagram post by Brooklyn, where he revealed his rift with his parents.
He accused them of trying to “ruin” his marriage to actress and heiress Nicola Peltz, daughter of businessman Nelson Peltz. Brooklyn also criticised their “performative” social media posts.
He claimed that his parents had been interfering with his relationship since before his wedding in 2022 and accused his mother of “hijacking” his first dance with Nicola at their wedding.
The DJ at the wedding, DJ Fat Tony, later backed up Brooklyn’s account, saying Brooklyn was “devastated” when his mother took the stage for the first dance instead of Nicola. DJ Fat Tony added that Nicola left the room crying while the awkward dance continued.
David and Victoria Beckham have not publicly responded to Brooklyn’s Instagram post.
