April 30, (THEWILL) – President of Actor’s Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, is heart-broken over the death of two Nollywood actors.
He took to his social media to mourn the souls of the two departed actors, Chinedu Bernard and Chima Precious.
He revealed that the industry needs prayers and he has set up a three-person committee to design a prayer link that members of the Guild would join from all state. He made Apostle Eucharia Anunobi the head of the prayer link.
“My heart is heavy, just as I wanted to speak on my brother Yul Edochie and the polygamy saga, I was informed of the death of these budding actors, Chima Precious and Chinedu Bernard, in Enugu State. My heart bleeds.
“Actors need a special day to call on God. I have therefore set up a three-man committee to design a prayer link that members of the Guild would join from all states. The committee is headed by Apostle Eucharia Anunobi, others are Pascal Amanfo, Arinze Okonkwo.”
Recall that Chinedu Bernard slumped while cleaning the Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church, Federal Housing Estate, Enugu. She was rushed to East Side Hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
Precious Chima died in Abuja.
