August 27, (THEWILL) – Manchester United beat Southampton 1-0 at St. Mary’s, thanks to Bruno Fernandes, achieving back-to-back victories for the first time under Erik ten Hag, while building on their triumph against Liverpool on Monday.
As both Harry Maguire and Cristiano Ronaldo started on the bench, Fernandes kept the captain’s mantle and struck a superb finish in the 55th minute to give United the victory.
