November 16, (THEWILL) – The corpse of Sani Dangote, the brother of businessman, Aliko Dangote, has finally departed the state of Miami en-route Kano State where he will be finally laid to rest.
Recall that THEWILL had exclusively reported that Aliko on learning of his brother’s death, quickly flew out to arrange for his corpse to be brought back following a special prayer session held in Sani’s honour in Miami on Monday November 15, where he spent his last few months.
His remains was expected to have arrived Nigeria in the early hours of Tuesday November 16 for burial same day.
However, there was a slight delay with the paper work needed to facilitate the departure of the deceased from Miami.
The paper work has since been perfected and at the time of this report, Sani’s remains has departed Miami aboard a chartered aircraft en-route Kano State.
Expected time of arrival is 4am Nigerian time and his final interment will take place on or before noon on Wednesday November 17.
Sani Dangote gave up the ghost on Sunday November 14 after a lengthy fight with cancer at Cleveland hospital, Weston, Miami, Florida , in the United States.
He was the vice president of Dangote Group among several other business interests.
