July 31, (THEWILL) — Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Switzerland international Dan Ndoye from Bologna in a deal worth £34m. The 24-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract at the City Ground, becoming the club’s third summer acquisition after Botafogo pair Igor Jesus and Cunha. Ndoye’s arrival strengthens Forest’s attacking options ahead of their fourth consecutive English Premier League campaign.
Ndoye spent two seasons at Bologna, making 62 Serie A appearances and contributing nine goals and five assists. His most notable moment came in the 2024 Coppa Italia final, where he scored the winner against AC Milan to end Bologna’s 51-year trophy drought. His versatility as a winger or forward adds depth to Forest’s squad as they aim to improve on last season’s 12th-place finish.
Before joining Bologna, Ndoye played for Lausanne, Nice, and Basel, gaining experience in both domestic and European competitions. He has also earned 22 caps for Switzerland, featuring at Euro 2024. His pace and technical ability align with Forest’s strategy of recruiting young, dynamic players under head coach Nuno Espírito Santo.
Ndoye expressed his enthusiasm about the move, stating, “I am really happy to have signed for the club.
