December 30, (THEWILL) – Former Big Brother Naija reality show star, Bamike Olawunmi, aka BamBam, has revealed that she underwent cosmetic surgery.
In a post via her Instagram page, the reality star said she will be sharing a series on “the darker side of plastic surgery”.
Bambam also shared a video wherein she is seen in the surgical room. She said people did not initially suspect that she had the surgery.
The reality star described the procedure as a life-changing experience, adding that it caused her a lot of pain.
“Till now, nobody suspects that I have done anything. Social media never warns you about the vomiting, pain and the nerve healing phase. This has been a life-changing experience. I cannot wait for you all to see,” she said.
Bambam had previously recounted her struggles with childbirth and postpartum depression.
The mother of two said pregnancy transformed her body. She said she went from a dress size 8 to 16.
She praised Tope Adenibuyan, aka Teddy A, her husband, for being supportive during the transition phases of her pregnancy.
The reality TV star said she ignored social media trolls who mocked her for gaining weight because they didn’t understand what she went through.
“I would never have imagined that my body would get this thick. I look in front of the mirror and thank God for supportive husbands like mine,” she had said.
“I was in shock. I went through postpartum depression. I was a mess. I did not understand. I transformed literally.”
