May 15, (THEWILL) — Veteran broadcaster Frank Edoho’s estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, has publicly addressed the controversies surrounding the collapse of their marriage.
The controversy follows Frank Edoho’s recent confirmation that he and Sandra had been privately separated for nearly two years and are currently undergoing divorce proceedings.
In a lengthy statement shared on Instagram on Thursday, Sandra accused the former “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” host of infidelity, emotional abuse, and financial irresponsibility.
Her statement comes days after reports linked her romantically with singer Chike following a leaked audio conversation online.
Sandra said she decided to speak up because remaining silent could “give mixed signals to the narrative that a sadist and narcissist peddles, making everyone believe he is a victim.”
She alleged that Frank cheated on her while she was pregnant with their first child.
“Until you decided that while I am pregnant with our first child, you would rather have a prolonged affair that lasted years with an actress, Mbong Amata amongst other women,” she wrote.
Sandra further alleged that Frank frequently disappeared for weeks and was involved with other women.
“Disappearing for weeks on end with women like Adaeze Ugboaja, BBNaija’s Tega Dominic and Amaka Okeke, whom you claimed you were trying to secure endorsements for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and who you brought into our home to sleep with on our matrimonial bed?” she alleged.
She further claimed that Frank pressured her to terminate her second pregnancy.
“Or the days you tormented me to abort our 2nd child because you were in numerous relationships and not ready to be a father?!”
Sandra additionally accused him of neglecting financial responsibilities in the home, alleging that she paid household bills, school fees, luxury trips, and other expenses during the marriage.
“A deadbeat! That is exactly what you are. I single-handedly sponsored your lavish lifestyle,” she stated.
She also alleged that Frank misused her finances and sold one of her properties without her permission.
Addressing the online rumours surrounding her personal life, including speculation linking her to Chike, Sandra said she is now free to associate with or date anyone she chooses following the breakdown of the marriage.
Neither Frank Edoho nor Chike has publicly responded to Sandra’s allegations.
