April 15, Popular Fuji singers, Wasiu Alabi Ajibola, popularly known as Pasuma and Akorede Babatunde Okunola, a.k.a Saheed Osupa, have decided to put their differences aside and embrace peace.
In a video posted on Instagram, Saheed Osupa could be heard consoling Pasuma on his mother, Alhaja Adijat Kuburat’s death.
Recall that Pasuma, on the 6th of April, announced the demise of his mother.
Explaining why he couldn’t be with Pasuma, Osupa stated that he had to attend to some things.
Expressing his regret for not condoling Pasuma in person, Osupa promised to play his role as a colleague and friend in spirit.
He said, “Even though I can’t be available in person to condole with you and play my role as a colleague and friend, I want you to know that I’m always with you in spirit. May Mama’s soul rest in peace. Be Strong, my brother and friend @officialpasuma”, he told Pasuma.
The duo, who used to be best of friends, went their separate ways after Osupa alleged that Pasuma stole his intellectual property.
After several efforts from Osupa to stop Pasuma from such an alleged unprofessional attitude proved abortive, Osupa decided to embark on abusive lyrics to tarnish and dethrone Pasuma as a self-acclaimed wave-making Fuji star.
The dispute continued with a lot of controversies trailing their individual career with their fans further injecting more fire into the issue.
While that was on, Osupa was suddenly installed as the King of Fuji music. The controversial installation caused Osupa and other Fuji musicians to engage in a verbal war that split the Fuji music genre into factions.
Obviously from the phone call, both have now buried the hatchet.
