November 18, (THEWILL) – Norway climbed to League A in the UEFA Nations League following an emphatic 5-0 victory against Kazakhstan, with Erling Haaland scoring three goals in a commanding performance at home.
The Norwegian squad entered the match knowing promotion remained possible, yet required a favourable result from the Slovenia-Austria fixture. Haaland opened the scoring by converting a rebound from Pokatilov’s initial save, before adding his second with a header from Antonio Nusa’s precise cross.
