“I mean now shows are $600,000. Now it is less actually because fewer people can pay. If I do four shows in a month, that is $2 million, $3 million,” he said.

Davido’s influence has increasingly grown in the music space in the over 10-year span of his music career, from securing top spots on international music charts to gracing international stages singing from his repertoire of songs.

In December, the singer showcased his musical talent on a global scale when he performed at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

On August 29, the Afrobeats star also thrilled the audience at the 50th Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards ceremony in Manchester, UK.

His recent album, ‘Timeless’ recently surpassed one billion streams across major platforms.
