May 30, (THEWILL) – Tope Adenibuyan, aka Teddy A, has revealed how he proposed to his wife, Bamike Olawunmi, also known as Bambam.
The couple met on the Big Brother Naija reality show and fell in love. They tied the knot a year after leaving the show and are now proud parents of two girls.
In an interview with media personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, Teddy A disclosed that he proposed to Bambam two weeks after they had an argument.
The reality show star revealed that they had a serious fight that lasted for about two weeks.
At that time, their relationship was on the brink of collapse. However, Teddy A had to find a way to resolve their differences.
He sought the advice of his brother in the US, who made him realize how much in love he was with Bambam.
He thought he would lose her, so he planned a surprise proposal and instructed her manager to keep it a top secret.
He asked her manager to tell her that the governor wanted to meet with her and one other celebrity.
Bambam was taken to the venue under the guise that the governor would come there for a meeting.
She was utterly shocked and speechless by the time Teddy A proposed. She was swept off her feet and said yes to the proposal.
