October 28, (THEWILL) – Singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng aka Skales has revealed that he regrets not having baby mamas. The artist disclosed that after his mother’s passing, he felt the weight of continuing his family’s bloodline.
“Right now, I regret not having baby mamas, I really regret because I’m the only person in my family bloodline that is alive right now,” he said.
“So, the whole bloodline relies on me to produce right now when my mom died was when I realised that there is not much of my bloodline.”
Skales lost his mother in October 2022. He married Precious Njeng-Njeng and the couple welcomed their first child in March 2023, almost two years after their May 2021 wedding. Earlier this year, the singer compared himself to the biblical figure King Solomon, revealing that he has dated around 100 women.
While reflecting on being born into a poor family and how he engaged in several menial jobs to get money, he said, “Growing up was really tough. It was depressing then because things my peers could afford, I couldn’t. As a kid then, I felt bad,” he added.
“I did a lot of things back then just to get money, including helping other students with their homework. I came from a very poor family.”
