August 05, (THEWILL) – Media personality cum actor, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, has opened up on his failed marriage.
The On-Air Personality ended his marriage to his first wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri, in 2018, over a paternity mess.
Nedu, while featuring on MTV Base Africa programme, ‘MTV Base Sparks’, revealed that ending his first marriage was the most difficult period of his life.
He added that he was under a serious anxiety attack in 2017/2018, despite creating funny contents to entertain other people.
He, however, said he got healed by another lady even before he finalised his separation from his estranged wife.
According to him, one would need to heal first before he or she moves on.
“Getting off my first marriage was the most difficult period in my life. It was in 2017/2018 when I was going through hell, but nobody knew.
“You know how it is when you are taking a walk, and your heart is skipping for no just reason. I was under anxiety attacks. But guess what? I was doing comedy skits and posting daily. But I was going through hell.
“Yes, I have healed fully from that situation. The person that healed me does not even know she was the one that healed me. I healed even before I left the marriage because if you are not healed, you can’t move on. So, I got to a point where I was healed a bit, and then I moved on and then totally got healed much later”, he stated.
