Speaking during an appearance on TVC Entertainment, Okocha dismissed the allegation, insisting it was impossible because he wore a mouthguard throughout the bout.

“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouthguard, so how is that even possible? He was just lying,” Okocha said.

The actor also said he had no reason to bite the singer.

“I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no. He should just accept defeat,” he said.

The contest ended in controversy after Portable walked out of the ring during the opening round following chaotic grappling exchanges.

Officials later disqualified Portable for abandoning the fight, handing victory to Okocha.

The bout was a rematch of their first celebrity boxing clash in December 2023, which Portable won. Their rivalry began with a public dispute over an alleged ₦40 million promotional deal before spilling into the boxing ring.
