Aug 04, (THEWILL) — Ifeoma “Ify” Okoye, the wife of music executive and former P-Square manager Jude Okoye, has responded after Peter Okoye made fresh allegations involving her in his ongoing tell-all video series.
In the fifth episode of the series, Peter, also known as Mr P, claimed that Jude once presented him with documents that would have transferred his ownership rights and shares within their business structure to Ify. He said he refused to sign after reviewing the documents.
Peter also shared details of a past confrontation with his brothers, alleging that a disagreement over their joint assets escalated and that Jude threatened him during the incident. He said the confrontation was part of the issues that led him to speak publicly about the challenges surrounding P-Square.
Reacting in a post shared on her Instagram Story, Ify chose not to address the allegations directly. Instead, she said she was leaving the matter in God’s hands rather than engaging in a public exchange.
“There comes a time when silence is no longer about fear, but about entrusting the truth to God”, she wrote.
Ify said she was aware of the discussions surrounding her but believes some narratives had been changed to involve her in a dispute she did not start and does not wish to be part of.
“As a believer, I choose to let God be my witness, for He knows every conversation, every intention, and every truth hidden from human eyes”, she added.
She further stated that she had no desire to defend herself before people who were already determined to misunderstand her, expressing confidence that the truth would eventually prevail.
Ify ended her message with a prayer for healing, reconciliation and peace, asking God to restore what has been damaged and guide everyone involved toward truth and humility.
Peter has continued releasing episodes of his tell-all series, where he has shared his account of the events surrounding P-Square’s breakup, family disagreements and business issues involving himself, Jude and his twin brother Paul Okoye.
Ify’s response is the latest development in the ongoing feud between the Okoye brothers, which has continued to unfold publicly in recent weeks.
