
July 9 (THEWILL) — Canadian pop star Justin Bieber will perform at the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show alongside Madonna, Shakira, and BTS.
FIFA and Global Citizen announced the lineup for the 11-minute show, which will take place during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The show is being curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Other performers include Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus with Coldplay, and characters from Sesame Street.
The halftime show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to help children around the world gain access to education and football.
Bieber stated, “The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can.
“I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show and to help expand access to education for children around the world.”
Burna Boy is also expected to perform “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Shakira.
The track has become one of the tournament’s biggest hits since the competition began, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Global U.S. chart, where it has remained for two consecutive weeks.
The halftime show is expected to be watched by a global audience during the FIFA World Cup final on July 19.
