Kachikwu Says He Can’t Confirm Release Of Kidnapped NNPC Staff

SAN FRANCISCO, July 27, (THEWILL) – The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has stated that he cannot confirm if the 10 abducted staff of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has been rescued.

Addressing journalists at the NNPC Towers in Abuja on Thursday, the minister said, “We only heard, but can’t confirm if anyone has been rescued”.

The NNPC workers were said to have been kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists.
