April 29, (THEWILL) – Tahir Fadallah, the billionaire owner of Tahir Guest Hotel Kano, has passed away.
Garba Shehu, the official Spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari, confirmed the development on Friday.
“We have lost Tahir. May Allah grant him Aljannah”, Shehu wrote on Facebook with a picture of himself and Tahir.
Tahir, of Lebanese origin, was born in Kano and spoke Hausa fluently.
Recall that Tahir tested positive to COVID-19 in 2020 and in order not to take any chances, he was evacuated on an Air ambulance to Beirut for treatment.
